One of the this year most important cultural events in Cetinje, and also in Montenegro started with a ceremony at the Revolution Square, where, the statue "In honor of Njegoš thought“ of Dimitrije Popović is located, from this evening. The sculpture is a gift by Dimitrije Popović and the National Community of Montenegrins od Croatia to the Old Royal capital Cetinje – on the occasion of the celebration of two centuries of Njegoš birth.

Numerous visitors - among whom was a number of public figures, including the President of Montenegro, Filip Vujanović and the President of the Parliament of Montenegro Ranko Krivokapić, as well as visitors from other cities and countries of the region - on this occasion were addressed by Mayor of the Old Royal Capital Cetinje Aleksandar Bogdanović, president of the National community of Montenegrins of Croatia Radomir Pavicević and the author Dimitrije Popović.
